Brilliant as always! I get surprised when the passing of a musician you liked, ends up having more meaning that you expected. I felt this way about Brian Wilson who I genuinely love and absolutely love The Beach Boys. When Brian passed it not only brought up all these memories, but of my parents who constantly had the Beach Boys on in the background. Love that music takes you to a place and often memories so vivid you want to just sit there in that moment and hope that its is an extended version.

"If we never get together again, please forgive me for the fools I’ve been. See if you can remember me when I was listening to my better angels. See if you can remember me when I was listening."

Music is a very personal time machine. Todd was a trip!
I don't know how old I was when John Lennon died, but I remember where I was when I heard about Kurt. Same recently w/ Todd. Love the tribute!
